Nizza D.O.C.G.

Nizza D.O.C.G. is a Barbera wine produced in a restricted area comprising 18 municipalities around Nizza Monferrato, which is historically the best zone for the production of Barbera.

The Nizza regulations have defined very strict production and ageing criteria in order to guarantee high quality standards.

“Liberta” is the name of the vineyard situated in municipal district of Castelnuovo Calcea where the grapes for this wine are grown.

The wine is left to rest and mature for 18 months in French oak barrels before completing the ageing process in the bottle for a few months.

The result is a particularly full-bodied wine with mineral notes, suitable for long ageing.
